In the most recent Recognition of Distinction exercise at Oxford, three members of the Faculty were made Professors: William (Bill) Allan becomes a Professor of Greek Literature, Armand D'Angour becomes Professor of Classics and Peter Stewart becomes Professor of Ancient Art. The Faculty warmly congratulates these celebrated scholars, and is delighted at their achievement.
