Corpus of Ptolemaic Inscriptions from Egypt 323-30 BC
This project began in October 2013, with the aim of creating a Corpus of up-to-date editions of the Greek, bilingual and trilingual inscriptions on stone from Ptolemaic Egypt (323-30 BCE).

The Griffith Institute has been sharing the content of its Egyptological Archive through a variety of online projects since 1995 having placed nearly 20,000 pages of original documentation in the public domain.
Cylinder seals are small objects typical of ancient Near Eastern civilizations. They were rolled on fresh clay to leave an impression. Means of identification and communication, they were used for more than 3000 years to seal doors, jars, bullae and clay tablets, their history being closely linked to that of cuneiform writing.
