My project focuses on Ionia in the Hellenistic period, approaching the region from various historical perspective: geographical, economic, and political. I seek to examine how Ionia, as a geographically bounded space and a cultural area, was articulated in this period of high political fragmentation, broadened local horizons, and politico-cultural experimentation.

My other research interests include Greek and Latin epigraphy, Greek numismatics, ancient historiography, historical geography, and Anatolian studies, including Anatolian languages. I have been President of the Oxford University Numismatic Society and co-convened the Ancient History Graduate Works-in-Progress Seminar.

I completed my BA in Classics (2020) and MPhil in Greek History (2024) at Balliol College, Oxford. I am funded by the Open-Oxford-Cambridge AHRC doctoral training partnership, the Clarendon Fund, and the Max Beloff Graduate Scholarship (Trinity College).
