My research focuses on the archaeology of Greek religion in Magna Graecia, exploring material evidence for religious beliefs and practices. My thesis examines potential traces of Dionysiac worship across Southern Italy. By compiling a comprehensive database of sites and artefacts, reassessing past identifications, and using archival research to relocate finds, my work aims to refine our understanding of where Dionysiac cult places existed and what rituals took place within them. Through digital mapping, I contextualize structures and objects to reveal new insights into the presence of Dionysos in Magna Graecia.

I am also interested in Greek art, particularly South Italian vase painting, which is reflected in my work on the digitization of Greek vases for the Beazley Archive Pottery Database.
